Reserve star Gary Gardner says he is "over the moon" after signing his first professional contract with Villa.
The midfield marauder couldn't contain his delight after penning a two-year deal with the claret and blues.
And he revealed his older brother Craig has been a major inspiration to him.
He said: "I am absolutely delighted - over the moon. It's so good to get it all sorted.
"Now it's up to me to keep working hard in training and reserve matches and hope to catch the gaffer's eye.
"This is, without doubt, the best moment of my career so far. It is such a great club and I love being here. I have been here for 10 years and it's great to continue that association.
"My family is so proud of me and I'm thrilled to sign the contract. Craig is pleased for me and he's been a big inspiration in my career so far.
