oh this is a game that is always absolute shite!
I once drove from my old house in North Wales to pick up my Bolton fan mate in South wales in my old Nissan sunny 1.5. Picked him up and headed back up the m4, m25, m1 up to brum. We got there late and the game was pure shite, we won 1-0 and i think it was a Yorky header.
Drove all the way back up to Wales with the old sunny making a strange rattling sound. The rattling sound got so bad at one stage i really had to turn the radio up loud to hear the after match comments!!! About 5 miles from home after a round trip of over 500miles we got pulled over and the copper told me we were smoking pretty bad too... I popped the hood and there was a bad bad burning smell! No oil and no water at all in the poor beast!
Anyway, old faithful kept on going till 50 yards from home and literally rolled the last few yards into the drive coughing, smoking and smelling like an ironworks smelt... It was the last time the car went anywhere! Apparenently if i'd have tried to put oil in before it cooled it wouldn't have seized! but there ya go, you live, you learn. Moral to the tale: don't bother with bolton!!
And that was the last time i bothered with Villa Bolton! my prediction: Shite game, Villa 1-0, Carew header.... |

lol, yeah, i thought my cunning plan might work but not that well!! What a result, finally got some much needed goals and finally had a midfield getting in on the act! Who wants to bet that NRC will be back on the bench next week... mind you if i predict it then it will probably be wrong! |
