WHAT'S THE STUPIDEST THINGS THAT'S HAPPENED AT AWAY GROUNDS?
I have 2. 1st time i went to Filbert Street i got off the train, started walking to the ground and went to the turnstile, paid, went in and found out i'd got into the rugby ground. Leicester Tigers were at home that day too!!! The 2nd was when Luton had the away fan ban. Me and a mate decided to go up there and try getting in as you do. We'd given some woman £20 to get on her roof to watch it but got caught by the old bill. After hanging around 10 minutes the silly cow ran up to us and gave us our £20 back!!! The game got to half time and at 1 end there's a bar you could just walk into from the street. We went in for a drink and found out to our amazement 1 end let into the ground and nothing was checked. We got into the ground to find the whole end was Villa fans!!! The funniest game was when Chris Price scored and we beat Arsenal 1-0 after being slaughtered on the pitch for 90 mins. Think that was the season we were 4pts clear of Liverpool with a game in hand in MARCH and we still lost the league by 10pts!!!

walk into Goodison 1/2 way through the game just in time to see Everton score there 4th! why was it stupid? Because we should have walked straight out again :hehe:

When we scored the 1st at Wembley against Leeds in 96 the bloke in front of us fell on the floor got stamped on, he was so pissed he didn't notice the nike sign imprinted on his forehead :hehe: :hehe: :hehe: ........what a great day that was !!!!!!!

Nearly being arrested on 3 separate occassions in Bolton a few years back. Once for littering, once for a disturbance and the 3rd for over celebrating us winning outside the ground, I don't think the Bolton fans liked us :hehe:

yeah yeah DBTW funniest thing... leaving st. andrews, lost badly and was with a bloke who had "shit on the city" on the back of his villa shirt and NO jacket. lets just say not good.

Breaking down twice in two seasons on the way to Norwich in two different cars. :!: Getting so drunk for Wembley finals that I can barely remember the sodding games. :!: My mate being hard at Everton and staring out the home fans then walking straight into a lamppost. :rofl: Forgetting where we parked the car at ....... I think it was Sunderland, I dunno, but we forgot where it was anyway and spent hours walking the streets looking for it. :roll: But the stupidest away game ever must surely be Wimbledon in the cup when it was so foggy you couldn't even see the pitch and it went to penalties and we couldn't see any of them. :bang:

1997 away at Man United ( I was in the Stetford end with mate) They starting singing 'have you ever done the double have you fuck' Next game my mate said there was an apology in red issue to the Villa fans.

wow think i was at nearly all those games.. luton away no away fans got my ticket off gary thompson our centre forward , all the players were selling there tickets to us outside the ground , we lost that game and it snowed . yeh remember the man urinals singing have you ever done the double have you fuck .. we drew 0-0 savo was out and yorke looked lost..andy cole missed loads..i always go to old trafford the first time i went was when we were already relagated to the old second division the coppers only thought we would take around 500 fans cus we were relagated and it was the last game of the season ended up we took 6,000 and it was nearly 90 degres . we were penned in and we lost 3-1 gibbo played for them total class..remember when forest beat us 6-0 we sung we will take more care of you brian clough brian clough,he stood and clapped us . what a man .. iv loads of good memories like that ..keep the faith

I recall, thousands of Villa fans going to swindon,last day of the season. We needed a draw to go up back to the old division 1.Police informed thousands that their tickets were forged (mine included) Villa fans stood outside the ground,Some inside opened some gates, hundreds got in before the police closed the gates. Then the local chief of plod,decided to let us all in rather than have thousands of drunk Villa fans in the streets....Happy days..

i also remember away at bournemouth villa fans mooning on top of the advertising boards ,and getting told to pull there trousers up by a voice on the tannoy ,villa replied with a farmer giles ooooooo aaaarrrr ,oooooooooooo, aaarrrr .
