Anyone else remember the likes of Peter Withe, Dennis Mortimer, Gary Shaw, Des Bremner,Gordon Cowans,Charlie Aitkin, Andy Lockhead,Peter MacParland,Willie Anderson and to a degree Andy Gray......All players that pulled on the claret and blue shirts with a sense of pride...not a hint of money was involved.....they gave their all week in week out,playing 42 league games a season plus FA & League Cup games, and European games when the oportunity afforded....plus friendlies...( I was at the midweek Santos game...when the lights were to bright for Pele et al)...did the above mentioned bitch....did they fuck...they got on with it...... :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:
